Abacus Team Volunteers Complete Third Highway Cleanup
On Saturday October 28th, volunteers from the Abacus team participated in their third highway cleanup this year. The cleanup event, known as "Clean Sweep," occurred on approximately two miles of Highway J on the northeast side of Mexico, and is dedicated in memory of Chance Davis.
A total of 42 Abacus employees (over half our staff) volunteered to help clean up the highway on the third event of its kind this year.
Human Resources Manager Donna Haynes says “it makes the team feel very proud to do something wonderful for the community while also representing Abacus. As a company, we do a really good job of getting out into the community and giving back.”
Much of the Abacus team live in Mexico, so cleaning up the highway is a great way for them to have a direct impact on their own community. "To see so many of our team give up part of their weekend is meaningful. We're grateful for everyone's time and glad we could help the community of Mexico," says Brittany Myers, Operations Manager at Abacus.
Thank you to the Abacus team for giving back to the community of Mexico!
