Founder of Abacus Logistics and seasoned logistics expert Tom Cagney has a long history with Mexico, MO. In 1993, Tom opened a distribution center in Mexico, MO (known affectionately as “MxMo”) to better service the distribution needs of several national home delivery accounts.
His proximity to clients’ distribution centers offered a competitive advantage and streamlined their supply chain. The central U.S. location afforded clients access to lower transit times and better shipping rates at a time when online ordering had yet to become commonplace. This offering included specialized white glove delivery for large, high-value items. Tom continued to provide clients with transportation and logistics services out of the Mexico location for several decades.
